Ways to reuse... oatmeal containers!

Make a wind sock out of an oatmeal container.

Clean out an empty oatmeal container.

Cut out the bottom of the container.

Cover the container with decorative paper.
(Or white paper, and have you favorite little artist finger paint!)

Cover the container with Mod Podge
(either hard or outdoor so it can withstand the elements.)

Choose some ribbons in different colors and widths.
You can purchase them by the yard so that you are not left with a lot of the same type.

Cut each ribbon about 1 1/2 feet long.
Mark the spots at the bottom of the container that you would like your ribbons.
You can use either a utility knife or a drill to make your holes.

Thread the ribbon through each hole, and tie on the inside of the container.

Hang your new wind sock in your favorite spot and enjoy!
